From September 16 to October 13, join your fellow Rams as we compete against 98 other schools in the A.O.R.E. Campus Challenge. Get outside, get moving, share your outdoor experiences and earn chances to win gear.

People of every skill and fitness level can earn points by having fun in the outdoors, doing activities such as cycling, outdoor service projects, and even stargazing. This is a part of VCU's Weeks of Welcome but is not eligible for entry into the tuition raffle.

"It's important for people to get away from the stresses that surround us everyday. The outdoors can be a great outlet for this. By getting outside we are able to participate in healthy activities that are fun and engaging. Whether its going on a walk in the woods, riding your bike or kayaking on the river, the outdoors is good for your mind as well as your body," Joey Parent, Assistant Director of the Outdoor Adventure Program said.

Starting September 3, you can download the AORE Campus Challenge app to keep track of your outdoor activity. To see what activities you can keep track of, check out the full list of corresponding activities and their point value. You are able to log up to five activities per day. Each activity should last a minimum of 30 minutes.

The Campus Challenge is not limited to only students. Faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the community are welcome to download the app and join VCU's journey to the top of the leaderboard.

As soon as Monday, September 16 hits, start logging those activities in the A.O.R.E. Campus Challenge app, share on social media using #AORECampusChallenge and #VCU or #VCURecSports and have fun in the great outdoors!
