Group Exercise

VCU Rec Sports offers a wide variety of Group Exercise Classes to help you reach your fitness goals.

Personal Training

A certified Personal Trainer will meet with you to customize a fitness program that meets your individual fitness needs, interests, goals and objectives. Learn more here

Small Group Training

Small Group Training offers a coach to guide you and 4 to 12 fellow exercisers in a 4-10 week program. In a small setting your coach will focus on goal-setting and allow time to have more personalized instruction.

VCU Recreational Sports is offering Fitness Instructor Training (FIT) programs to prepare students to lead group exercise classes or train on campus.

Strength and Conditioning Drop In 

Strength and Conditioning Drop-in is a FREE opportunity for members to use our fitness equipment in the MAC and have access to a Certified Personal Trainer for questions and basic instruction

International Yoga Day

Join us in celebrating International Yoga Day for an outdoor yoga class (Ashtanga Yoga: Surya Namaskar A) on the Cary Street Field from 8:30-9:30 p.m. A limited supply of yoga mats will be provided but please bring your own if you have one! Learn more here!
